He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Herrala (Knowlton); his children, Kenneth Herrala, Waverly, Joyce Keturi Van (George), Mathew Herrala (Nadine), Barton and Jean Herrala; his sister Alice VanGelder; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Judy, Julie, Douglas, Kristin, Ericka and Ashley. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his special dog.
