With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel J. Brown of Barton, New York, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2024. He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Tyrone Brown; and his grandmother Carol Sobol. He is survived by: his mother Jody Sobol Brown; his children, C. J., Devonte Brown, Alexcious and Darviron Brown; his siblings, James, Eric Brown, Alyssa Stokes and Carol Cruz; and his grandfather James Sobol. He is also survived by one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc. (1240 St Ann St, Scranton, PA 18504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
