Kunkel of Barneveld, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chauncey Kunkel and Ruth Kunkel (Sterling); her siblings, Sterling Kunkel and Barbara (Kunkel); and her brother-in-law John Barnaba.
She is survived by: her niece Maryruth Stopera (David); her great-nephew John of Westmoreland, NY; her niece Carrie Byrd of Cato, NY; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kiley, Sean, Katie and Jacob; and her friend Joyce Borrill (Kolmer).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Heintz Funeral Home (408 Herkimer Rd, Utica, NY 13502). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church (702 Columbia St, Utica, NY 13502).
