He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Sr. Thomas and Iris Crowell Thomas; his wife Sarah Sally Williams; his son-in-law Ralph Kraeger; and his brother-in-law Robert Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Thomas (Bette), Tracey Kraeger and Michelle Tabor; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Victoria, Brandice, MacKenzie, Matthew, Adam and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Wesley and Lynette; his sister Carolyn Flowers; his nephews, Danny, Doug and Nelson Flowers; and his sister-in-law Betsy Hunter.
