We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2025, at the age of 89, Mitchell R. Thomas Jr. of Barneveld, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Sr. Thomas and Iris Crowell Thomas; his wife Sarah Sally Williams; his son-in-law Ralph Kraeger; and his brother-in-law Robert Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Thomas (Bette), Tracey Kraeger and Michelle Tabor; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Victoria, Brandice, MacKenzie, Matthew, Adam and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Wesley and Lynette; his sister Carolyn Flowers; his nephews, Danny, Doug and Nelson Flowers; and his sister-in-law Betsy Hunter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ackley-Mills Funeral Home (9597 Main St, Remsen, NY 13438).
