He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Piester and Orealia Piester; his sister Betty; and his brother-in-law Richard Perry. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Mary Peroha (John), Cindy D'Errico (David), Richard Piester (Candice) and Gerald Piester (Pamm); and his brother Jeffrey Piester (Gayle). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 9 nieces and nephews.
