He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Morin and Bertha Morin; and his sister Shirley Hall. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Brian Zilles of Syracuse, Keith Zilles (Joy) of Fonda, Lori Davis (Mitch) of Bennington, Marissa Guisti (Jason) of Perth and Richard Morin, Jr. (Jen) of Amsterdam; his siblings, Charlene Mahlman (William) of Dorset and Frank Morin (Carol) of Bennington; and his grandchildren, Peyton, Troy and Johnathan. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
