Peter M. Balet Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2023, at the age of 83, Peter M. Balet (Ballston Spa, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bertha Phinney and Jan Balet; his wife Marie Peck Balet; and his children, John Balet, Suzanne Balet-Haight, Sandra Balet, Ben Balet, Liza Balet, David Haight, Andrew Haight and Julia Haight.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology (https://birds.cornell.edu), the Adirondack Institute or the American Cancer Society, all organizations for which Peter had a strong affinity.
