She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony DeRusso and Mary Denio DeRusso; her son John Anthony Dittmer; and her siblings, Jean Noble, Josephine Matthews and Anthony DeRusso.

She is survived by: her siblings, Peter DeRusso (Bonnie) of Troy and Mary Smith of Ft. Walton Beach; and her friend Michael Forchilli. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Joan's name may be made to Saratoga County Department of Aging and Youth: 152 W. High St. Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
