The memory of Gerilyn Kancyr of Ballston Spa, New York, who passed away on July 25, 2024 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Gerilyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerilyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley. She is survived by: her sister Priscilla Malloy; her sons, Patrick Pipino (Rebecca) and John Lopiano (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Merideth of Isabelle, JJ and Sarah; her niece Kara; her close friend Denise; and her pet Rosie.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Polaris Pavilion in the Saratoga Springs State Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that interested parties consider a donation to LifeWorks Saratoga.
