He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard L. Minkler, Sr. and Emma Minkler; his former wife Elise Minkler; his wife Geralyn Minkler; and his siblings, Richard Minkler and Arlene Minkler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Bennett (Russell) and Donna Defibaugh (Karl); his grandchildren, Marisa Janack (Joseph), Kevin LaFleur (Jessica), Krystal Staats (Donald), Eva Bates (Scott), Richard Lundquist, Chase Bennett (Brittany), Cameron Bennett and Mackenzie Bennett (Kerry); and his sister Jane Freedman (Lewis). He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
