She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Rue and Jennie Rue (Moore); her husband Robert (Lester); and her siblings, Millard Rue, Wilbur Rue and Elizabeth Rue Pickering. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends.
