She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Shelly and Dorothy Shelly (Boice); her husband Harold Sindler; her children, Stephen Brown (Kathy Brown), Shelly Pooler (Dale Witter), Rick Pooler (Ulrike Pooler), Sarah Provost (Cecil Provost) and Ben Pooler (Jackie Pooler); her brother Michael Shelly; and her former husband Wayne Pooler. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a niece.
