It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Stickney of Ballston Spa, New York, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stickney and Gladys Stickney (Ledwith); and his siblings, Mary Leonard (Stickney), Walter Stickney, Kenneth Stickney and Hayden Stickney.
He is survived by: his wife Susan K. Stickney (Morehouse); his daughter Jean E. Van Auken (Kirk); his grandchildren, Corey Van Auken, Brendon Van Auke and Katelyn Van Auken; and his siblings, Patricia Babbie-Reo (Ned Reo) and William Stickney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of his love for animals, donations may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakwood Ave, Menands, NY 12204, in his memory.
