He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvah and Lena Cornell, Sr.; his wife Sylvia; his daughter Jean; and his siblings, William, Donald, James, Charles, Frank, Dennis, Carol, Sally and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Geiselman (Kim), Alvah Cornell III (Ella), Fay Thomson (Gene), Frankie Cornell (Ranu) and Barbara Donohue (Bob); the mother of his children Clara Gonyea; his stepchildren, Michael Lucadamo and Christine Wells (Ken); and his sister Lillian Bush. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
