He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Callanan and Katherine Callanan (Fitzpatrick); his wife Concetta J. "Connie" Callanan; his son Raymond Callanan; and his brothers, John, Walter, William, Donald and Robert Callanan.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Callanan (Laurie) of Ballston Spa, NY and Catherine Callanan of Clinton, NY; and his grandchildren, Raymond F. Callanan, III, Matthew Callanan (Sierra), Maegan Brennan (David), Christopher Callanan (Jessica), Amanda Olson (Kyle), Charlotte Bradley (Krista) and Zoey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home (21 Midline Rd, Ballston Lake, NY 12019). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (73 Midline Rd, Ballston Lake, NY 12019). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
