Michael James Bloss Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael James Bloss of Ballston Lake, New York, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael James Bloss to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bloss and Claire Bloss; his in-laws, Nelson and Catherine Ripley; and his brother-in-law John Ripley.

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Kait Bloss, Allison Brown (Todd) and Kevin Bloss (Nicole); his grandchildren, Evan, Lila Brown and Mia Bloss; and his siblings, Barb Hulbert (Joe), John Bloss (Lisa Sardinia), Peter Bloss (Ann), Susan Ripley, Thomas Ripley (Ema) and Mary Harris (Cliff). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Clifton Park (Clifton Park, NY). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward the Confessor Church (569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clifton Park Elks Lodge #2466 (695 Mac Elroy Rd, Ballston Lake, NY 12019).
