In loving memory of Mary Alice Smothers (Ballston Lake, New York), who departed this world on February 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Mary Alice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raphael Marra and Madeline Marra (Palmer); and her daughter Cheryl Ann Dame. She is survived by: her husband James S. Smothers, Jr.; her daughters, Michelle Bergman (Robert) and Amy Smothers; her grandchildren, Matthew Dame (Amanda) and Allison Dame (Joseph Parkhurst); her great grandchildren, Grady, Carson Dame, Aurora and Charolette Parkhurst; and her brother Ralph Marra, Jr. (late Virginia).
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home (21 Midline Rd, Ballston Lake, NY 12019). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery (27 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302).
