He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Epps and Stella Van Epps (Zabielski); and his brother Lawrence Van Epps. He is survived by: his wife Ann M. Van Epps; his children, Daniel Van Epps, Jr. (Lisa), Michele Van Epps (Jonathan Gould) and Elizabeth Prock (Randy); his grandchildren, Matthew, Aidan, Jackson, Isabella, Amelia, Bennington and Charlotte; his sister Phyllis Richards (Bruce); and his sister-in-law Rorie Van Epps. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
