He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Schmidt (Perley) and Albert T. Schmidt, Sr.; and his siblings, Eugene Schmidt and Anne Marie Reider. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Schmidt (Felix); his children, Tracey Oravec (Robert) and Deron Schmidt (Sasha); and his grandchildren, Renee Oravec, Kate Oravec, Meghan Dollard and Kyle Dollard.
