He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Wheeler and Beatrice Wheeler (Engle); and his siblings, Francis, Neil, Robert and Mahlon.
He is survived by: his children, Diana W. Sivers (Mike) of Ft. Worth, TX, Wayne A. Wheeler of Memphis, NY, Mildred L. Eddy (Dave) of Lakeland, FL and Melodye A. Shampine (Jim) of Central Square, NY; and his brothers, Richard Wheeler of Oswego, NY and Charles Wheeler of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid pandemic, funeral services will be held at a future date at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners in Baldwinsville with burial and full military honors at the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Romulus, NY, where Bud was inducted into the Navy.
