She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles VanSlyke and Erma VanSlyke; her husband Clarence Fredrick DeShane; and her siblings, Henry, Charles VanSlyke and Alice Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Steven DeShane (Ann) and Susanne Younis (David); and her grandchildren, Brian DeShane (Pamela), Kelly Ochsner (Larry), Jason Warner (Diana), Jeffrey Warner (Malia), David Younis (Erika) and Melissa Taubman (Mathew). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
