He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Elander and Bernice Elander (Howe); his wife Arlene; his brother-in-law Jay Decatur; his children, Ken Elander (Nancy) and Barbara Deptula (Pat); his grandchildren, Victoria Jorizzo (John), James McSally (Dian), Mollie McSally, Josh Elander (Jackie) and Kyle Elander; his great grandchildren, Jack and Luke Jorizzo; and his sisters, Ellen Decatur and Dawn Foote (Chuck). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dick's memory to the Silver Fox Adult Day Centers.
