He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond C. Charbonneau, Sr. and Jeannette (Levesque); his siblings, Karen Arthur (David) and George (Barbara); and his friends, Frank Lepkowski and Aggie Roth.
He is survived by: his close friend Jeri Fowler; his children, James (Krystyne), Michelle (William), Anne-Marie (Jay) and Collette; his grandchildren, Cassandra (Jarred), Brandon, Christine (Drew), Alyssa (Christopher), Nicole, Natalie and Emily; his great grandchildren, Caiden, Chloe and Zoey; his siblings, Claire (Daniel), Patricia (Joseph), Laurent (Wanda), Paul (Deb), Joseph (Annemarie), Thomas (Linda), James (Gina) and Steven (Ann); and his aunts, Jeannette and Pauline. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
