It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Thomas Cooney (Baldwinsville, New York), who passed away on September 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Cooney and Margaret Cooney (Smith); his wife Lynn Wilder Cooney; and his siblings, James Cooney and Margaret Yost.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Cooney Chirello (Stephen); his stepsons, Mike (Nora), Mark and Peter Wilder (Kim); his grandchildren, Caitlin Besio (Jeff), Mary Chirello, Danielle Mattessich (Michael), Isaac Wilder and Mallory Wilder (Hans); and his siblings, Robert (Roberta), Patrick (Bonnie), John (Jane), Timothy (Charlie) and Carol Yurchak (Basil). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church.
