It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Richard Metcalf of Baldwinsville, New York, born in Carthage, New York, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Paul Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Paul Richard. Though Paul Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen L. Metcalf; his daughters, Meghan and Taylor; his parents, Gerald Metcalf of Baldwinsville, NY and Elaine "Lonnie" Metcalf of Baldwinsville, NY; his grandmother Katherine Kraushaar of Liverpool, NY; and his siblings, Ellen Ames (Mitchell) of Moore, SC and Mark Metcalf (Traci) of Wilsonville, OR. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a wide group of close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home (3541 NY-31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
