She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertus DeVries and Lena DeVries; and her husband Herbert Wesley Spencer. She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Karen), Scott (Elizabeth) and John (Aislyn Renfrew); her grandchildren, Meredith, Kathryn, Jacob, Riley and Ellie; and her siblings, Bert DeVries, Linda Graves and Judith DeVries.
