As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bette Davis Farleman. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Benjamin and Laura Sjoquist (Ryan); his grandsons, Caeden and Eoin Sjoquist; his sister Jeannie Austin; and his brother-in-law Allen Clark (Kiki). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at the Church of Christ (4268 Wetzel Rd, Liverpool, NY 13090).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to the Huntington's Disease Society of America Rochester Chapter or the Church of Christ in Liverpool, NY.
