She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas O'Connor and Anna O'Connor (McCleaf); her husband Peter A. Black; her sister Patricia Naumann; her daughter-in-law Mary C. Black; and her granddaughter Adrienne Paskell.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommy P. Black, Sr., Peter J. Black (Nancy), Michael F. Black (Jackie) and James P. Black (Peg); her grandchildren, Heather (Keith), Tommy Jr. (Amy), Kristen, Shayne, Danielle, Michael (Mariko), Bryan, Sean, B. Michael, Seth, Eric and Eleanor; her great grandchildren, Chase, Dakota, Dallas, Julian, Luke, Ava, Ella, Cameron, Jameson and Marley; her sister Claire Smith (Bill Hendry); and her nephew Paul Prygocki (Susan O'Hara). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
