He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa "Missy" M. Enedy Radell; and his brother Richard Lamphear. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Lamphear (Kozian); his grandsons, Barry Lamphear (Wendi) and Louis Lamphear Sr. (Deborah); his nieces and nephews, Danielle, Tabitha (Jason), Julie, Louis Jr., Brendon, Lindsey and Joseph; his aunt Rosalie; and his uncle Louie (Thank). He is also survived by his family and friends.
