She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Sanford Mitchell and Florence Dwyer Mitchell; and her brother Mark S. Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Owens; her siblings, Judy Dieso (Stephen) of Kansas City, MO, Charles Mitchell (Nelly) of Portland, OR, Michael Mitchell (Cathy) of Heathrow, FL and Brian Mitchell (Patricia); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Mitchell, Carol Quist (John), Dave Owens (Vicki), Tom Owens (Kathy), Jim Owens and John Owens (Dena). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and Jack, her therapy dog.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
