He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa Meeker. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Eckel (Armstrong); his son James Eckel (Meghan); his stepdaughters, Mallory Coleman (Daniel) and Krystal Dupre; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Shannon, Sandra Meeker, Breck Coleman, Layla Kirsch and Louie Kirsch; his great grandchild Vivian McCarthy; and his brothers, Howard Eckel (Beth) and Robert Eckel (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John was passionate about organ donation, so please consider increasing your awareness.
