He was predeceased by: his parents, John Velasco and Nancy Velasco (Terrinoni). He is survived by: his siblings, Alice Foriero of Liverpool, NY, Kathleen Koslowski of Cicero, NY, Denise Mnich (Chet) of Cicero, NY, Debbie Cooper (Donald) of Liverpool, NY, Michael Velasco of Bridgeport, NY and Charles Velasco of Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Patti and I knew John for a short 8 years as our neighbor and friend. Whenever we saw him he always stopped to say hi and talk for a bit . He always asked how our granddaughters were as he knew we baby-sat them daily . We sat on the porch and watched the solar eclipse and had a nice visit of course Patti kept telling us not to look up . 😊 May you rest in peace John , you will be missed. To the family of John may God give you comfort and strength.”
