She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel M. Mezzo and Millie Mezzo (Mallore); and her brother Thomas Mezzo. She is survived by: her husband William of Baldwinsville; her children, Andria Thompson (Dean) of Baldwinsville, Maureen Krol (Walter) of Central Square, William Jr. of Liverpool and Stephen (Tari) of Durhamville; her sister-in-law Connie Mezzo; and her brothers, John "Jack" Mezzo of Wichita Falls, TX and Fred Mezzo of Liverpool. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Due to ongoing COVID-19, a memorial service will be planned for a later date, when family and friends can gather to celebrate Joan's life.
