He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Sr. Peterson and Mary Peterson (Luke); his son Kevin; and his brothers, Laurence Jr., Alonzo, Raymond and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Martin; his children, Mark Peterson (Kathi), Beth Carpenter (Dave), Lynn Cayea (James) and Gale Harper (Heidi); his sister Elsie Peterson; his grandchildren, Shannon, Megan, Erinn, Liann Peterson, Bradley (Liz), Amanda Carpenter, Johnathan and Tyler Cayea; and his great grandchild Johnathan Anthony Cayea. He is also survived by many nieces nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's memory to St. Mary's Church.
