It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry F. Sobota (Baldwinsville, New York), born in Fulton, New York, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Polish and Italian; his brother Edward; his wife Theresa Gallagher of Fulton; his daughters, Susan, Bess and Susie; his friend Ben Ferrara; his grandson Oliver; and also Mookie. He was also cherished by three children and eventually partners and grandchildren, as well as an assortment of pets.
Since retirement, Hank had also been actively exploring his roots, fascinated particularly by the intricacies of the Polish side of his family tree, and had enjoyed talking about a trip to learn more about this history in person when the grip of the pandemic loosened and made travel less problematic.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or another deserving charity.
