He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Burke and Margaret Burke. He is survived by: his wife Anita Koll Burke; his son Daniel P. Burke of Alexandria Bay; his stepsons, Erik Konick (Tara) of Manlius and Todd Konick (Sharyn); and his brother Dr. Edmund Burke (Mary) of Clayton. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
