He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Girard and Lucienne Girard; and his siblings, Lorraine Girard, Marriette Shoen, Jean Girard and Richard Girard.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Becky Becker (Paul), Wendy Woodruff (Jay), Col. Jeffrey Girard (Erin), Robert Girard (Regina) and Daniel Girard (Tracy); his brother Ronald Girard (Sandra); and his sister-in-law Cheryl Girard.
