Steven P. Cornish Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2025, at the age of 66, Steven P. Cornish of Baldwin, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Steven shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Steven farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth; his son Samuel; his siblings, Beth, Kevin, Brian and Scott; and his parents, Dolores and Frank. He was also cherished by brother and sister-in laws, nieces and nephews, treasured friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Macken Mortuary, Inc. - Rockville Centre (52 Clinton Ave, Rockville Centre, NY 11570). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Saint Agnes Cathedral (29 Quealy Pl, Rockville Centre, NY 11570). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at 16 Powells Ln, Old Westbury, NY 11568.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund (gorillafund.org) or the Rome Arts and Community Center (romeart.org).
