He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia; his children, Patricia Berthelsen-Leon (Kevin), Michael and Margaret Ortiz (Nick); and his grandchildren, Patrick, Kevin, Carolyn and Erin.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cecere Family Funeral Home (2283 Grand Ave, Baldwin, NY 11510). A Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary RC Church (196 W Centennial Ave, Roosevelt, NY 11575). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Charles Cemetery.
