He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Shmorhun and Fanny Shmorhun. He is survived by: his wife Lesia; his sons, Leon Jr. (Angela) and Nicholas; and his granddaughters, Victoria and Emily.
A wake was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fullerton Funeral Home (769 Merrick Rd, Baldwin, NY 11510). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic Church (709 Front St, Hempstead, NY 11550).
