He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; and his children, Donald Schmidt (Mary) and Kathleen Donnelly (late Charles). He is survived by: his children, Thomas C. Schmidt (Lynn) and Diane Marie Flynn (Thomas); his grandchildren, Brian (Kelly), Kyle and Brendan; his sister Sister Patricia Schmidt; and his son Raymond Schmidt.
