“To the Batt family: It's Craig Cooper, your parents' across-the-street neighbor for more than 20 years. I just heard that John passed away this year, and then also found out that Barbara passed in 2021. John and Barbara were wonderful people, and the best possible neighbors. My first wife Nancy and I were very fond of both of them, and it was John who was there for us on the tragic day in 1999 when Nancy died suddenly at home. Please accept my sincere, belated condolences and good wishes.”
