He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Karl Michel and Dorothy Shaver Michel; and his siblings, Albert Michel, Marie Searles and Joan Tansey.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Shore Michel (Shore); his children, Julie Swartwood (Terry), Connie Durler (Bob), Dale Monroe (Mara), Alison James (Dave) and Bobby Michel (Cindy); and his sisters, Dolores Leahy, Emily Leahy, Marion Brown, Eleanor Gloeckler and Karen Campbell. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
