It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Castle of Bainbridge, New York, who passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis Castle to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Manwarren and Celia Manwarren (Woods); her siblings, Geraldine Ireland (Stanley), Ida Loomis (Donald), Freida Alcott (Edward), Linda Tragakis and Alvin Manwarren; and also Herbert Uhlig.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Lisa Castle) and Steven Castle (Kathy Bechtold) of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Lindsey Castle (Kory Rogers) and Jonathan Castle; and her sister Alta Uhlig. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Upstate and Western New York or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County or to the Bainbridge or Oxford Fire Departments.
