She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Tredray Salak and Thomas Salak Sr. (Gloria). She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Mortzheim of Greene; her husband Ernest Whitacre of Brookfield; her son Joseph Mortzheim (Holly); her grandson Jack Mortzheim; and her siblings, Marguerite "Peg" Robinson (David), Thomas Salak Jr. (Cindy) and Sheryl Kondrach. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved pets.
