He is survived by: his wife Sally Decker Carmody; and his children, Colleen Carmody of East Rockaway, NY, Sharon Mozzi (Bob) of Dalton, MA, James Sutherland (Laurie) of Fabius, NY, John Carmody (Josephine) of White Plains, NY and Patrick Carmody of Sylvan Beach, NY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
