As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Gayle; his sons, Daniel and David; and his stepdaughters, Donna Pignataro and Jodi Lemarie.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Noce Funeral Home (189 NY-109, West Babylon, NY 11704). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in Donald's memory to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
