He was predeceased by: his former wife Dolores "Dolly" Lee; and his son Michael Lee. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Lee (Boutte); his daughters, Tracy Phillips (Jesse), Natalie Gordon and Roxanne Knorr (Jantzen Janigan); his sister Mildred Brown Ranney; his son-in-law Ronald Battle (Gwen); his grandchildren, Shantelee Jackson, Desiree, Marques, Tyronald, Leah and Trenton Battle; his great grandchildren, Herman Gatewood, III, Kennedy Jackson, Cameron Swift and Avery Jackson; and his pets, Tiger and Smokey. He is also survived by other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Louis Lee Foundation c/o Bank of Castile 263 East Main Street Avon, NY 14414 or GraceLife Church 275 East Main Street Avon, NY 14414 in his memory.
