He is survived by: his children, Danine Dolphin (Sean), Shawn Gillette of Rochester and Shane Merrell of Manchester; his granddaughter Mariah Schneider; and his brothers, George "Coach" Merrell (Pauline) and Arliss Merrell (Lynn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
