It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward M Coyne of Avon, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Coyne and Helen Coyne; his wife Dorothy Annis Coyne; and his grandson Chase Nicholas Coyne. He is survived by: his sons, Bob Coyne (Linda), David Coyne (Kim) and Alan Coyne (Tana); his grandchildren, Jake Brown (Pamela), Rob Coyne (Carrianne), Jason Coyne (Jessica), Hannah Hughes (Matt), Malachy Coyne and Nicole Bishop (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Jansen, Noah, Riley, Abby, Brayden, Grayson, Collin, Brooklyn Graham and Pressley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home (350 Genesee St, Avon, NY 14414). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Agnes Church (96 Prospect St, Avon, NY 14414).
